I was asked about the Drum Kit Kit AI’s response time so I decided to test it:
On an oscilloscope one channel was connected to the piezo lead coming from a drum pad and the other was connected to the MIDI out of the Drum Kit. The time delay was about 400us – 700us, this is less the 1ms! I suspect that the difference in timing could be from where (which pad) in the scanning loop the the Drum Kit was reading when the pad I used in the test was hit.
